ever have one of those moments where you thought you did something but aparently forgot? this is one of those moments XD
for those of you out of the loop the deadline for the eigth round passed a little while ago but due to some tecnical difficulties a few of our entrants have been unable to get their entries up

This worked out well regardless as to be honest I had planned to give our grand and shiny entrants a little break anyways, as they have been at it non stop for a bit now XD

The results for round eight and the next match shall resume on the 25th.

and excuse my sillyness for forgetting to mention this XD

we have been having alotof fun and im glad to see we have made it this far so lets begin! ^_^

But before we do I want to ask my entrants a question, now wether you win or lose you all will be lasting until the last round and I feel I owe the runner-ups a prize for making it to the end.
Now Im asking you eight to get back to me sometime during these three weeks and give me yout opinion on what sorta prize would be fitting.

The light in the cavernous room was dim, enough to see silhouettes, but not to determine good detail. Though, of course, no real detail was needed for this group of people. It is a well known tradition for shady people to meet in shady places, standard, if you will, and if you don’t have standards, what have you got? At the very center of the room sat a massive table, nine seats dimly lit with a threatening glow. Nine individuals sat in these seats, facial features obscured for eight of them. The ninth, rose from his chair to open the meeting, greasy black hair flopping around his face.

“Welcome, friends. I trust you all arrived ready to bring hell.”

The lights on the table before each seated figure brightened slightly, revealing the greatest enemy of each member of the Final Eight in turn. Anthony Otherbody smiled broadly.

“Let the games begin.”

Meanwhile, a man of unusual height stood facing away from a large display as various video clips and fragments of data appeared and disappeared on the screen. A frown darkened his pop star features as a much shorter man entered the room, green hair flowing behind him.
“I see you changed out of your costume from the last round, Jasae. All the better, we’ll be far too busy this round for you to have to worry about a dress.”
Afos Sem gestured to the screen behind him, the display towering over his eight feet of height.
“We have received reports of sightings and readings of people who should not be here in the city. From what we can tell, Anthony Otherbody has contacted and brought to the city the worst nemesis of each of the Final Eight competitors or the closest thing to them he could find within the city. They are all highly dangerous, and we have details on almost none of them. We managed to collect footage of one Jack Photon and Otherbody conversing in the ruins of Rustir a few rounds back. From what we can glean, Otherbody is up to something that could be catastrophic for not only the tournament, but the city itself. We really will need every competitor to be at the top of their game for this round, but we cannot risk the public getting wind of so many villains assembling. You remember the outcry when my clan was formed from somewhat reformed villains.”

Jasae Plushie nodded along, having been told to make sure the tournament didn't have any problems coming up.

“So we need to make sure that they are ready to face even Otherbody, if necessary. Do you have any suggestions, Jasae?”

The silly muse thought on it for a second before perking up with an idea.
“The Festival, Afos! The annual Wind Festival of Kabina is right around the corner!”

The tall young man from Kabina allowed the corners of his lips to curl upwards at the plushie announcer’s suggestion.
“ Perfect. We may not be able to teach them any combat during the Festival, but we can teach them the best defense against Otherbody.”

Jasae tilted his head kinda curious, wondering what rampant fun an epicaly large festival of epical proportions could due to remedy the dreadful crisis Afos was hinting at and curious if Aki was going to accept that proposal Afos made.

“Dance, Jasae. We will teach them to dance.”

Standing on the balcony of Kabina castle Queen Aki in all her splendor stood before the masses.
"I now proclaim the beginning of the wind festival!"
Loud cheers from the crowd erupted as the festival began from Kabina to spread across the city and talk of games with unique prizes being rewarded was spreading like wildfire.

Elsewhere Everett Fairfield, medical profesional and all around nice guy was out and about town, making literal house calls as several of the cities poor structures came down with flu.

Optional Events: Any one of these three events MAY be included in your entry, BUT ARE NOT REQUIRED.


*Some of the buildings of Byako have caught a cold. Expect much sneezing and coughing should you be fighting near one, or worse, inside one!


*Crazy villians are abound and you have been signed up for dance lessons!


*Many fun games are happening during the festival and Queen Aki of Kabina herself is giving out the prizes!


these events aside from the whole festival thing are optional and are not required in this round eight event
