greetings folks we had some problems with christsmas and all but we finally draw this round to a close! now without further ado here are our judges!

Well well wells......these two ere were sum pretty good entries. Ya got John Cleese (the merchant not the actor) flying through his entry with marvelous full color, great story and a tricky challenge of paging and paneling that boggles
In the other corner we had dere Jake, in all his bunny eared glory in a nice little entry that made meh laugh and had a nice way to resolve dat dere match.
In da end dough Im gonna hatfa give my choice over ta jetpilot fer a nicly done entry with solid art type stuff and a satisfying story.

Not much to say about this match. Color, content ( translations, please ) and fun-factor made a good combination to push =jetpilot55 ahead. Other than that too much time-traveling got my running around pages to get my left brain contented with the cause-effect part of the plot.
Mecha-wrestling for the win!

I found both entries very enjoyable and each of them had their high points, as well as good costumes! Silence-Draconis' idea of the two characters having a duel was brought about very well. The ending especially, made me laugh when Cleese was blinded. Jetpilot's storytelling abilities make me choose him as my vote for this round's winner. The interaction between Cleese and Jake was excellent. I especially loved the ending too, which I didn't expect, and was very happy when I read it (Even if the tournament is a round robin there are definately ways should your entry win and be canon. I'm sure Silence-Draconis would have fun playing around with that too).

Now dis here was a faverite o mine. We had in one corner vintage price, all around australian rich boy in all his clownish fury with a ton of self cameo appearances.
In the other we had da shenanigan twins dere fighting for truth and justice and whatnot to save the cities soda and get roarin drunk doin it.
Afta readin dem two entries ov'a im just gonna have ta give my win over ta kenton alkemi fer a bloody swell match.

This was a good match. Loved both the entries and I wish both of them could get points for the awesome match! Unfortunately, Cthulhu declares that there should be a clear winner in said event and therefore Cthulhu proclaims ~Kenton-Alkemi the winner for capturing Byako's carbonated nectar supplies and winning the BRR fight in one entry!

This was the hardest match for me to judge, as I'm a huge fan of both artists. Both artists have a great sense of humor and used the Random Events incredibly well. They also interpreted the other's character(s) well too. However, Kenton's writing style and plot planned for this round win me over.

Ah dis here was a tough one fer me.
On one hand we have ere Danielle the demon child wit her own unique brand of spunkyness and random humor that just fits Byako to a T. However it only had four pages which was a bit of a downer.
On the other we had Trenton with a nice little piece of work, involving the world wide web, how to deal with wild monkey children and dat cossi has all the best stuff.
In the end my vote goes to Dadrick though if Bunni89s entry had been complete it would have been much closer

I really have to give ~Dadrick a good applause for that well-thought finisher. I wasn't really expecting the spider to make a web on the ceiling. . . (was expecting something else )
I loved ~Bunni89's action sequences though.
~Dadrick wins in points of presentation and cleanliness!

Unfortunately, Bunni89 was unable to finish her entry. However, you should still check it out. This young lass has a very unique sense of humor and I found many of her jokes and gags funny - the upside-down word bubble especially! Dadrick's entry was humorous as well, and full of action. Everything that happens is very clear, and not just because Jasae's announcing it. Dadrick uses a lot of interesting angles to his advantage and makes his entry were enjoyable to read.

Huh...Da battle between de ancient being and the hero in trainin. Sadly both entries were incomplete but what we had was pretty good.
Lord viking with his nice clever story leading up to a grand battle.
And Setrina with her rampant humor and amusin interactions.
In da end though im gonna have ta give my vote over towards Diana-hnd since her entry included her opponent and had a fair amount of interaction, which is not an easy way to make a judgment call lemme tell ya.

Unfortunately both contestants were unable to finish their entries. However, that doesn't mean that either entry isn't worth reading. Diana-hnd has created yet another hilarious adventure. I'd say more but I don't want to spoil it for those who are waiting for the rest or those who haven't read it yet, although it's all at Jasae's expense, the poor guy! On the other hand, LordViking has woven an incredbily interesting plot for his entries and made me wish I had followed him since the beginning (I'm a new judge, so this was the first of these I had read!). I love when people take advantage of the NPCs given in a tournament, especially in one like Byako which has many. If you haven't read both of these entries yet you definitely should.


I always have problems judging different media. For me, you just can't compare apples and apple pies. Anyway, enough rant. Reading the entries and feeling not content either way, ( <.< Are they really missing their endings? ) I decided to go to my trusty point system. . .~
In favor of flower-power, and this entry has a LOT of it, the winner is~ =diana-hnd!
